Manuscript Features

Some folios are completely illegible and some are partially illegible since considerable letters on those folios are rubbed off.

In a palaeographical peculiarity of the Newari script, an r-plus-consonant sequence is noteworthy in the style of this manuscript. The usual style to represent it is, of course, a hook placed to the right over the following consonant character: e.g. xmR. To denote the same sequence, the manuscript also has an additional from in which the r is joined with the frontal or upper part of the following consonant character: e.g. x•m.
